Birmingham haven’t received the best press in recent months. One of their supporters was jailed after hitting Jack Grealish on the pitch, whilst the club then had nine points deducted for a breach of spending.
However, after yet another fan ran on the pitch following Birmingham’s 3-1 win over Rotherham on Easter Monday, Che Adams went and visited the supporter in a police van after he’d been taken in.
The video above which was posted on Twitter provoked quite the reaction from the St Andrew’s faithful who replied in their dozens to the remarkable video footage.
One said that Adams was a top lad whilst a further supporter sarcastically laughed at how amazing their club was.
Another fan claimed that his arrest was well worth it considering he got to meet one of the Birmingham players.
Adams can seemingly do no wrong on and off the pitch at the moment, with the striker scoring 22 goals and claiming four assists in the Championship so far this season.
It’s form that’s seen him attract the interest of Everton this month, according to Football Insider.
Here’s the best of the reaction to the video.
