da betway: The nominees for the PFA Player of the Year have been announced, but one man who is missing is Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli.
da apostebet: The 21-year-old has not been forgotten completely as he has made it onto the shortlist for PFA Young Player of the Year – an award he will aim to win for a second season running.
At the moment, a day does not seem to go by when Alli’s name is not mentioned.
He has been an impressive figure in Mauricio Pochettino’s team this season, scoring 16 goals and making five others in the Premier League.
Despite his young age, Alli has been influential in helping Spurs keep league leaders Chelsea on their toes by narrowing the gap to seven points.
As expected, Blues playmaker Eden Hazard has made it onto the list of nominees for Player of the Year, while his teammate N’Golo Kante has also been selected.
Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane, Everton hitman Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez make up the shortlist.
Many football fans have been left confused by Alli’s omission, particularly as Kane and Lukaku have been nominated for the Young Player of the Year award as well.
Burnley defender Michael Keane, Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Manchester City’s Leroy Sane are also up for the gong.
