The Gunners are in something of a transitional period, and after losing the likes of Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy last summer, are looking to restrengthen.
The newspaper indicate that the likes of Andrey Arshavin, Manuel Almunia, Carlos Vela, Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson. Marouane Chamakh and Sebastien Squillaci will all leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, with a number of new players replacing them.
The Gunners are thought to be close to concluding a deal for Germany international forward Lukas Podolski, but no announcement has been made as yet.
However, long-time Arsenal target Mario Gotze has decided to sign a new contract with current club Borussia Dortmund.
The talented playmaker has penned a new deal at Signal Iduna Park to keep him with the Bundesliga champions until 2016, and feels his work at the club is not yet finished.
“Everyone knows how comfortable I feel in Dortmund. The club are far from finished with their recent resurgence, and I want to be part of this development,” he told reporters in Germany, translated to English by Goal.com.
