da bet nacional: The opening fixture of their European Championship campaign was indeed a tough one for England’s Under-21 side. Facing rivals France in the first game and yielding all three points in the last moments was truly heartbreaking for the Young Lions.
But while most of them remained detached from social media, a couple of brave ones posted their thoughts, messages and promises on Instagram.
Even though he didn’t really send a message to the fans, Reiss Nelson did post an Instagram snap that prompted the fans to discuss his and the team’s performance.
All the 19 year-old posted was two butterfly emojis but that was enough for plenty of responses stating that the youngster should’ve been given a chance to help the team – he was left on the bench for the entire match.
England’s next game is scheduled for June 21 against another tricky opponent in Romania and they will then face the young Croats on 24 June. The standings should become a bit clearer by that date.
